Most deserved of this game. Its one of the few high quality releases in this genre so it really has earnt everything its got. I don't like the comparison to Lost Odyssey personally as they are different sub-genres and they don't appear on the same console.

I have this game, should play it eh?!

Well explain to me what Valkyria and Lost Odyssey have in common.  I admit that I haven't played LO in about 5 or 6 months, but I don't see the similarity.  I guess Welkin and Kaim both have the letter "k" in their names.  That's something.

VC has leveling up ,levels,exp you can aid your self you play in turns so in your thinking Final Fantasy tactis has no rpg elements YOU CAN 'T SAY AN RPG IS NOT AN RPG eitheer is has strtegy , or it turn-based or free-roam

They are both RPG's

VC is a Strategy/Tactical JRPG, Lost Odyssey is a traditional JRPG.

Before FF13 was released they were both respectively PS3's and 360's top selling JRPG games.

No, the Jan 2009 leak had VC at 74k.   The 130k is from November (not last NPD, sorry).


According to VGC almost half of the games current American sales came in the last 7 weeks. November data obviously doesn't isn't of much use here. Just wait for Sega to give their quarterly report.

The game's out of stock and pretty much every electronics and toy retailer (Wal-mart, Best Buy, TRU, etc), and has been for months.  Gamestop's the only major nationwide who seems to even carry it, and then even it varies store to store and is unavailable online.  

What happens if it's not mentioned in the quarterly report?  Just like it's never been highlighted in any of Sega's IR reports after the Q1 2008 interim results (where Sega said domestic sales were "steady")?

FFTactics had classes, customizable characters, side quests, and such.  VC gives you a set group that you can improve by spending points.  I'd go as far as to say VC is more like a 3D version of Advance Wars than Final Fantasy Tactics.  My army looks exactly the same as your army.  My snipers are snipers.  My engineers are engineers.  What role do I play?  My army goes to a battlefield and I decide how to tackle the battle.  That's it.

There are more to RPGs than just character growth. If that were the case, you would have to consider more games role-playing.
