As we can see, Valkyria Chronicles has finally jumped over Lost Odyssey sales-wise. Pretty good achievement considering a number of things VC has going against it.

Surprising. I wish Mistwalker could port LO to PS3 so more people would play it, it is such a good game, and the success of a turn based jRPG might get more developers to stick with turn based games!

Microsoft co-owns the IP, it'll never happen.  The game in this thread that could theoretically be ported would be VC.

We could maybe see a LO spinoff for DS though...

this is both good and bad.

They will never port LO or Blue Dragon to the PS3. SEGA should have ported Valkyria Chronicles to the XBox 360 and Wii. That could have been done easily. SEGA made tons of XBox exclusives last gen like Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Panzer Dragon Orta, SEGA GT, Otogi 1 & 2, and all the 2K Sports games. Not sure why they didn't do much for Microsoft this generation. I still want Shenmue 3 and Gunvalkyrie 2.

I'm using VGChartz numbers seeing that i'm on VGChartz. And the thread is about the numbers VGC has for both games.

The boss is happy with the numbers AFAIK, and so am i.

But hey, it's funny watching you refuse to accept VGC figures and constantly try to downplay them

Wow.. Lost Odyssey sold 110K of Lost Odyssey in Japan. That a pretty big achievement considering here were only about 400K XBox 360 sold in Japan around that time.
