Forums - General Discussion - The new director for "Spider-Man" is....

Mark Webb...

...

He only made one notable movie and that's (500) Days of Summer.

Kind of a strange choice if you ask me but I guess he can do the job with a good script.

I thought it was going to be Micheal Bay....

I could already see the movie poster....

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

Holy fuck........yes.

Thats just great :(. I would be a lot more happier if the director was either Brett Ratner or Michael Bay. Brett Ratner directed notable movies like Rush Hour 3 and XMEN 3 and he's directing Beverly Hills Cop IV. Michael Bay directed Bad Boys II and Transformers I &2.

Are you kidding ahah

Going from Sam Raimi to Michael Bay would be a total insult to the franchise.

I hope it's a joke. Go James Cameron! You still have a chance!

Not a bad pick actually.

God, if it had been Michael Bay or Brett Ratner, I wouldn't have bothered watching another Spiderman movie until its next reboot.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.
