This week, we're joined by Nick "Naznatips" Pantazis, as we give you inside info on game sales, our thoughts on upcoming motion control initiatives, and the controversial subject of if SEGA will re-enter the console market.

Summary:

-Brett’s early Mass Effect 2 week 1 predictions

-PSP was not last place last week!

-Modern Warfare 2 = $1 billion in sales

-TOPIC OF THE WEEK: We discuss the competitive trap that Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have all fallen into at one point or another.

-How will Natal work for more complex games?

-Our thoughts on when new handhelds will be announced--Nintendo doing the Apple thing!

-Will SEGA ever make a new console?

-Will Metroid: Other M be more like Zelda or Ninja Gaiden?

-If you ever get lost, buy a TomTom.

-And finally, we reveal whether we are, in fact, naked when we record these podcasts!

Attention: We need a title for the currently-boring-sounding "News Section".  If you send one in, and we select it, you will win a future guest spot on the show!

___________

Also it would be GREAT if you guys could offer a TITLE for the news section, be creative!!

Rate the podcast but make sure you also write down why you have given it the score you did so that improvements can be made & so that you will enjoy the future episodes even more!!!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

@killeryoshi - we werent saying that the gamecube was an overall failure. It just failed to achieve market share. It had great Software and was profitbale for nintendo. But the business plan would not have survived another generation, which makes it a failure in that sense.

Ok, I got a new question for the podcasters: "What are your guy's favorite movies?"

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."
