Shin Megami Tensei:Devil Survivor, The World Ends With You

In March the best DS JRPG of 2010, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

Listen to this guy, these neo-JRPGs are some of the most fun games on the system.

I would also add, even though they are remakes, Dragon Quest 4 and Dragon Quest 5. Dragon Quest 5 is my favourite game on the system.

Dragon Quest may be a couple of remakes I give into since I have never played them. Only issue I have with them is the battle system view where I don't see my characters.

However I need to learn to get past that if I am ever going to play EarthBound on my SNES.

So I will add those to my list as well.

With that I see the DS truly does have some good games. I was just checking out Devil Survivor and it looks good. Of course I have just started SoD so it will have to wait.

Devil Survivor is awesome and it has this cool system that you can steal moves from enemies and give them to yourself(the human characters). Just be prepared, the game can be quite difficult at certain points(well duh, it's SMT!) but it feels rewarding getting forward and see continuation to a very interesting story. The story's outcome depends on your choices in dialogue and which characters you wish follow will determine who will stay in your party and who will live or die.

Buying demons from Demon Auction and fusing demons is also very addicting.

Only downsides that come on top of my head are that grinding/leveling-up can be kind of a pain and the music can feel a bit repetive at times.

Bah, demons own pokemons

Ok here we go:

1. Dragon Quest 5: hand Of The Heavenly Bride (yeah yeah its a remake but u dint mention it so HA!)

this game made an FF fan a DQ fan too....FANTASTIC game!

You play accross 3 different generation, towns & NPC's are so fun to talk to, especially after big events happen, long main quest, quick fast no nonsense gameplay. Funny, quirky & addictive storyline!!

A TREAT to play!

I know its a remake, but I was so amazed by its awesomness I want you to experience it too!

2. the World Ends With You

You may like this game, its got a innovative battle system using the stylus. YOu buy clothes & accessories in this game, and the system is really great as if the clothes & accessories you buy are popular in the part of town your in they more effective, if they are unpopular they will have negative effects. The music is fantastic, story gripping & full of plot twists.

Not convinced yet? talk to soriku

3. Mario & Luigi: bowsers inside story

Very innovative JRPG, with two main sets of settings. The body & the outside world. While gameplay in both settings is pretty similar, the way you move around is completely different & thats what make this stand out

oh & you'll love bowser, his minions & flawful!

If you never played it, then how do you know it's the best?

Anyway, do not "fix" other people's posts, it's annoying

Oh yeaha nother one, there was a game my cousin gave me to try out

I can't remember its name right now, but it was really really really cool, had lots of voice acting & loads of allies you could have in your team

nice story too, it basically had like several alternative universes & "doors" between them, saying more would be spoilers

great game, let me try to go & find the name.

Kingdom Hearts!? ^
