Well...so much for the need to have greater than DVD storage space...

I bet it took longer for them to create the movies than it did for the rest of the actual game. SE needs to stop their lovefest with movies, there must still be a lot of bitter people after the failure of The Spirits Within.

Spirits within was a great movie. Very deep and way ahead of it's time. It's not like the ff7based movie which was just fanservice.

I thought it was ok at best, the plot to me was fairly nonsensical.  I would've much preferred a more fantasy based movie than the sci-fi based one they ended up with.

Regardless, TSW pretty much bankrupted SE and almost destroyed the entire studio so can't exactly be considered a success.

a GAME's worth of content though?

Well many people did think it was weird. Financially it wasn't a success but it was a major innovation in 3d movis. I mean even to this day you have to look long and hard for such visual details as it has.

You can find it today, sure.. But you'll still have to look long and hard for it.

Check out my game about moles ^

I don't understand. People are complaining because a 60 hour game has 9 hours of video, which gives you easily 40-50 hours of gameplay.

However they won't complain about a 10 hour game with no video...

Final Fantasy games have had plenty of FMV since FFVII and now people whine about it.

You don't like the FMV in a game? Don't buy it. It's really just that simple.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Not that hard...I see Avatar plastered everywhere I go as an example.  TSW wasn't done in 3d that I remember though, I guess you mean CGI?

Apologies for the double post but I am also curious about something else.

I have heard that the game doesn't have backtracking, is this true?

That also explains why underrated Nintendo names like Fire Emblem have such a avid following.

This game will have a lot more gameplay than videos though, and will still be longer than most games out there, I dont see whats so bad about this info.
