Prediction: If there is really a new cheap PS3 model coming out late September/early October, with that cheap 16gig model, I believe Resident Evil will be a 1M first week in Japan.

I don´t believe Software will have a significant impact on hardware (even considering how big they are going to be), but I do believe that in japan a brand new cheap model will have a big impact.

Right now all of this doesn´t make sense because there is no new model announced.

RE6 will be huge regardless

people really got carried away by COMG!'s pre-order number and overestimate on a game's selling power in Japan.
