Week One million sellers aren't that common in Japan. We've had one in 2012, had nothing in 2011, two in 2010, three in 2009, and none in 2008. So on average, you only get one or two a year. With the latest Pokemon aready out, Dragon Quest X being an MMO, NSMB2 being a summer release on a recent platform, Monster Hunter 4 being a 2013 release, and Final Fantasy 15 being purely hypothetical, I doubt we'll see any week one million sellers this year.

NSMB2 ends at 384 but I think it will act more like 500 pt when sales come out.

Looking at the pics above, Japanese stores seem more colorful and inviting lol I'd say 500k for Mario and maybe between 150-200k for 3DS XL. Is that a bit too extreme though? :s
