It was on COMG chart but with 32 points, less than Xenoblade 10 days before its release. This is a good indicator of how bad is COMG for Wii games (about every PS3 game appears there but just 1-2 Wii games).

Lost Planet 2 (PS3) had 68pt before its release.

NieR (PS3), which could be a good reference for Xenoblade, had 69pt. (First Week 64.818 units)

Oh sorry, I saw the X360 version...anyway 32+68 means about 100 points to have a 100+k opening, I'm not sure Xenoblade will be able to reach that mark but as I said before COMG is not a good indicator for Wii games IMO, this means Xenoblade could reach a 100k opening just with 80-90 points, but it's impossible to be certain...

maybe Xenoblade could have more preorder points than Final Fantasy Versus XIII before it is released!



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

But I think pre-order rates should increase as we get closer.
