Why are they still taking pre-orders for MH3 if there's only 420k copies shipped??

thesource claims that the game had 405k pre-orders as of December 4th and should end with 450k pre-orders. That means they won't have any copies available in store?

All that is odd.

Remember that the 420,000 number is only a shinobi estimate (they are most of the time right in the ballpark though). Also maybe Comgnet got a large supply in comparison to other shops. Wouldn't be that weird considering the demographic that's known to get it's games from Comgnet.

Other games, like Super Smash Bros Brawl, have got a second shipment on the same week, so the 420K figure its not necessarily the high end for MH3G FW.

Actually you can get a second shipment on day one. That 420k figure is pre-release (like the week before release).
