More popular system, more popular (sub)genre, tie-in with the 2nd biggest 3rd party series ever. If it doesn't outsell MGS4, then Kojipro made a huge mistake wasting their effort on PSP.

Well, the PSP is in a lot better position since Portable Ops. This game should do v ery well.

I doubt it will do anything..
I just don't see it as a portable game. I also think a lot of people will look at it as a step backwards from 4 because of graphics and some people will think of it as a spinoff because it doesn't have 5 in the title. I think it will definitly do better than portable ops though.
I'm guessing it had a much smaller budget than MGS4 too.

Look like MGS PW is going to have equal opening to MGS4. i expect MGS PW legs to be better than MGS 4 legs.
looking at the points table, i dnt see it opening more than 250k fw in japan, but things can certainly change if the hardcore MGS fans buy it first day :)
