Looking to the high number for the last 2 MH(MHP2 and MHP2G) it seems the serie is very preorder heavy, both of them had over 2.5k points but their release was under a million

Yeah. Obviously no sane person at this point is thinking it can beat Pokemon's first week, but I don't think a 2 million plus opening is impossible. I mean, this thing might end at 5,000 or more points, who knows?

I think a 2 million opening is impossible because no MH has sold that well at full price, they always sell A LOT with the budget rereleases
