I think it's when a sudden fans of the game pre-order about 2 weeks from the release date, I can see it charting around 10th October.

I wouldnt gauge preorder numbers too much for KEY.

Thing is, when you say "decent first weeks" you mean around 50k, which is not decent for a Kirby game.

Kirby 64 - 340k first week
Super Star - 250k first week
Super Star Ultra - 260k first week
Nightmare in Dreamland - 210k
Kirby's Pinball Land - 160k
Kirby Squeak Squad - 160k

Hell, even Kirby Air Ride on Gamecube did 100k. Epic Bomb :(
