No, we'll have Golden Age!

As long as they monitor the trolling and steer clear of left-field editorials *cough* IGN, I think this site will be around for awhile even if the sales chartz themselves become stagnant. This is the only online forum I actually contribute to regularly.

Wii fans have always had a presence on this site, of course this is magnified by the constant sales success of the DS/Wii and its games. This has led to a Nintendo community that has been pretty constant, more or less.

The question was whether the 360/PS3 fanbase could tolerate such a roller coaster of sales success. I mean, it's amazing to see the demographic difference between Holiday 2009 and Holiday 2008. During 2008, we had a 360 fan surge to this site, and a decrease of PS3 fans. And now with the slim release and success, PS3 fans have surged back to the site in a big way... while 360 fans have more or less been somewhat silent.

Hopefully we'll see a growing 360 fanbase as 2010 starts, hopefully Microsoft will have a great year this year with it's stellar lineup and Natal's launch.

I think it's more possible that the forum will become too sterile and people will leave because of that.

That's a lesson with deep implications guys.
If you want this forum to live, then pray for Natal to be a success and PS3 to see many pricecuts! ;D

Hmm, the forums have actually been very interesting as of late, and got a little spark back. I think around E3 times, the site gets its own Christmas boost of sorts, where all types of people come in looking for info to make E3 arguments about. Whoever is left from the fallout become a recurring member, even more so during the holidays.

I know I will be here unless something bad happens to me...sometimes you need the Savior haha

I think there will always be an interest in this site, but the forums are slowly dying and that seems to have mostly to do with over-moderation.

It will happen on July 9th.

That day will be the end of VGChartz as a massive amount of trolls, alts, spammers and fanboys will try to get revenge by trying to break the site, posting lots of spam and other stuff.

As the banned members that came back are way too many, mods wont be able to control the situation and ioi will have to promote more people to become mods.

As the mods still arent able to ban all of these, they will start to ban everyone and as the situation become worse, they will ban tons of people and they wont even realize that they will be probably banning themselves. Without mods, the situation gets worse and after that, the trolls and spambots reign VGChartz.

Well, this is my prediction of what will happen that day if all of the permabanned members dont permabanned again.
