And Forza is MS  "GT Killer", its only proper that i bring them up, especially since there both competing for the same market and are sim racers.

I guess they'll delay it til the holidays... Sony needs a big title for September onwards
and Resistance is not enough.

Bit weird.....Didnt PD say it was almost ready and they could ship it whenever they wanted last summer.

Still think it will be a good game but at this rate it might be the PS4's launch title.

I heard it was going to be November 1st, maybe the EU release. Will have to wait and see.

again, GT trial demo has already killed FM3 full game in term of physics

you add the GT5 prologue model superior to FM3 model

then you add night+weather racing + 1000 cars

Let's put away FM from this thread

Well, nothing so far indicates the delay is actually down to the game, etc.  This could be a marketing driven change, to put GT5 somewhere in the year where Sony think it will see more sales and/or better compete with 360.

The fact they are saying the delay is for a single region tends to support this notion, as it is unlikely the game could be finished enough for one region but not another.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

don't kid yourselves. you can say all you want that "you've lost interest and you won't buy it" but at the end of the day, when it's all said and done, GT5 will still have it's 10 million sales. and you'll still be one of those people who bought it.

so just be patient and wait. you know you'll buy the game anyway whether it comes out this year or in 10 years.

Perhaps that's how things work for you but not everyone.

Because Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, God of War III, and many others were all announced 2.5 years in advance.  Oh wait, they weren't.

    - Release in February 2010

God of War 3
    -Announced in E3 2008
    - Release in 15/03/2010

 

Sony announced a lot of its blockbusters earlier when they had trouble with the sales.

This tend to stop now.



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
