uhh, how unexpected

I agree with the ones saying this will sell no matter how many delays. However, the generation is moving along without one of the major franchises releasing and this has and apparently will continue to hurt Sony in their fight to push HW (my logic being the earlier you bring a system seller, the more systems it can potentially push).

Add to this that delays means extening the cost of the game (as PD are still having a team working on this).

And finally, I think PD said at the last E3 that they could release the game then if they wanted. This is just bad for their image, makes them look somewhat ridiculous imo.

Although I know it would disappoint many, you could see Sony looking at the year and figuring let GoW3 and the bigger multi-games get it through to later in the year, then have GT counter the clear focus MS already has on the holiday season, together with bundles and probably Wand as well.

GT will sell however they delay it (as FFXIII showed in Japan) and they can be picking about when to maximize the undoubted boost it will give the PS3, particularly in Japan and Europe.

Jesus, this is getting silly. At this rate, we won't have it here till the PS3's fourth holiday season and that is seriously long overdue.

Even the most staunch GT fan has to admit this is now getting ridiculous, hasn't it been ready for release several times already only to be put back time and time again. At the current rate they'll struggle to get a GT6 in before the end of the gen which would be criminal given the huge investment PD have had so far. Perhaps the success of selling the prologue allowed them more leeway if it provided sufficient funds to the kitty of the development budget.

None of the above matters though as it will still sell whenever they decide to release it, also gives me time to fund a decent wheel setup.

Thats not so bad. If this is true, isn't it the first OFFICIAL delay? Most games suffer at least one "delay"
