despite not being a fan of the series due to it killing another racing game i enjoyed more on the PS1 that had damage and licensed cars. I do hope this game makes it out sooner rather then latter, maybe its just waiting for a global holiday launch, and that wouldn't be tooo bad.

rest in piece J&L SCR sniff you will always be the best ps1 racer in my book

come play minecraft @  mcg.hansrotech.com

Oh geez.  I hope they haven't decided to make it a holiday title or some bullshit.  The game needs to come out.  Don't they realize how bad all these delays are making them look?

Of course, a delay in Japan doesn't necessarily mean a delay in the West.  The Western release was targeted for Summer for marketing reasons, most likely to avoid the deluge of new releases in Q1/2 (including Sony's own God of War, dropping the week of GT5's original Japanese release date).  It's possible the game has been delayed til Summer for Japan, and they'll simply do a worldwide release then, much like they did a worldwide release for GT PSP.

Technically it's not once had a delay in the West, since it's never had an official release date for us...

I think.

Otherwise, I agree with your sentiment. It needs to come out soon. I want. :D

don't kid yourselves. you can say all you want that "you've lost interest and you won't buy it" but at the end of the day, when it's all said and done, GT5 will still have it's 10 million sales. and you'll still be one of those people who bought it.

so just be patient and wait. you know you'll buy the game anyway whether it comes out this year or in 10 years.

I actually thought they would get it out in March, too.

I agree.

GT5 will be one of those games like GTA:SA.

You won't remember buying, renting or even playing it at all, and yet, you'll have a copy sitting around.

Due to the little amount of advertising and "hype machine" being run by Sony, this isn't surprising at all. Generally you know when a big game is about to release so it not releasing in March in Japan is of no surprise. Let's see if they can hit a summer release for it though.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Holy shit if true just cancel the game and be done with it this is truly absurd !!

*Edit* looks like it's been pushed back three months fo Japan, not as bad but hearing the words GT5 and delayed for one more time just pisses you off. Hopefully we see a worldwide release.
