I read in the same source that much of the upset from the staff was more because they had to "gimp" the PS3 version because of space the Xbox didn't have as well as the xbox's that are sold without a HDD.

Of course this was all from a new poster who had just signed up so it could be all false, i just hope it is because this game actually looks good. I wasn't interested at first but now i want it.

The game started life as a PS3 exclusive as far as I'm aware. Rockstar owe Sony one from some Contract stuff signed in the PS2 days, this was gonna be it but they made it Agent instead (Most likely cause this game's budget blew up way too much).

I think the game is finally coming together, and will be quality. Just no game should take 4 years+ to make, especially when it's appeal is as limited as a western...

Very disappointing that R* are not managing their teams well, especially as I am incredibly excited about the game

The lack of money won't really matter, their next GTA will make up for that

Well since their money spent was over the course of 4 (or 6) years, at least the release of the game will be the end of such a huge financial drain on them. This kind of helps explain why the company was always posting such financial losses. If they can whip that team in to shape and get the next game out the door with reduced costs, we should see a stronger, leaner Rockstar.

Not going to happen.

It seems to me like management itself is the problem.  The team is already bearing more burden than it should.

I remember when things like this started to pop up about EA. That was the start of EA's decline.

Well the difference is that R* are still cranking out great games, just not that many of them... EA's game quality did decline, though it has rebounded greatly
