Well since their money spent was over the course of 4 (or 6) years, at least the release of the game will be the end of such a huge financial drain on them. This kind of helps explain why the company was always posting such financial losses. If they can whip that team in to shape and get the next game out the door with reduced costs, we should see a stronger, leaner Rockstar.

It seems to me like management itself is the problem.  The team is already bearing more burden than it should.

I remember when things like this started to pop up about EA. That was the start of EA's decline.

Well the difference is that R* are still cranking out great games, just not that many of them... EA's game quality did decline, though it has rebounded greatly
