Sorry..it's all fantasy..
As the next PS will have BLu-ray(improved) and Cell(improved) and other next-gen features.

So basically they have dropped the bomb already and have a sure winner next-gen. All is formed in this generation and readied for the coming battle. Nintendo raked in cash and will come with a HD version of the wii or something completely PS like. MS will follow suit and come up with another control scheme (not their idea of course) . PS(4)? will rake in the cash next generation as all expenses are already made. They promote 3D- TV because they know they have the medium to burn those sort of volumes info on....the call it BLU-RAY!
They have visions and it does not have to be yours......3D-TV....why....we have Blu-ray, we have hyperfast internet for TV broadcasts. Think about it for a moment and be one with the reality.

I know a few things about visions and predictions....I said 31million PS3's by the end of 2009, six months ago......It happened.

Actually, the current buzz is that they're dropping CELL for PS4.  IBM killing CELL production lines would sort of support that too.

 

Next gen, I expect everyone will adopt Blu-ray.  Hell, there's even rumors of BD variants for 360 and Wii coming sooner.

The fact that the Playstation name still means something or worth anything is the only reason to keep going. Until the Playstation name is worthless, then that's the end of Sony's involvement with gaming. Pride has no place in business.

I believe IBM is dropping New cell development in terms of more cores...but is still going to update it with lower nm for cooler processing and there can still be upgrades in heat dissipation and usage of the actual cell processor itself, so I don't think it'll be done for a while yet



Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

Toshiba has developed the next Cell processors for Sony. Remember when Sony sold the procc.Dev. to Toshiba. IBM said this last year, heard this from Sebastian ... engineer at IBM, he has a blog on inet.
