Forums - Sony Discussion - Qriocity Revealed

You may recall Sony registered Qriocity a while back and the mysterious trademark has been revealed to be.. an on demand video service. The recent demo at the CES was shown on a Sony Viao TV but as we know Sony are aiming to create one unified media network then this should be coming to the PSN at some point. So, what’s the difference between Qriocity and the current PSN Video store? Qriocity streams videos and will test your internet connection and adjust the quality of the stream accordingly with movies starting “in seconds” rather than the half a day wait for a download. Good times.

About time

So it's like the 360 service then?

They ripped off the Dissapereance trailer...

Even though I don't know how to pronounce it, its a better name than the "PlayStation Network Movie Delivery Service"

Kir-os-ity?

Curiosity?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
