So, has anybody bought a game for a game console even before buying the console itself? I for one bought MGS4 and GTA4 even before I owned a PS3. I also bought  Star Ocean 4 even before I got an Xbox360. I did this to make sure that i do buy a PS3 and an XBOX360

MGS4 and GTA4 I was not disapointed and was worth buying it first to make sure I got a ps3. SO4:TLH on the otherhand was pure crap but the xbox360 was worth  the other games i bought after the  piece  of garbage that is SO4.

I bought VC about half a year before PS3. I wasn't disappointed with it

When I got my first gaming rig, I was really excited, so I went on a small shopping spree for games I wanted before my rig arrived. I bought:

- Star Wars: KoTOR (1+2)
- Call of Duty: Deluxe Edition
- Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines
- Half-Life 2
- Star Wars Republic Commando

Probably some others too, but those are the ones I remember.

Oh yea, I also got Warcraft 3 like 1 year before getting a PC good enough to run it.

wehn I got my wii, I ordered wii from play.co.uk

& I ordered super mario galaxy from amazon.co.uk

Super Mario galaxy came 2 days before the wii!

I bought mario kart 64 a full month before i bought a N64, man i read and re-read the manual lots of times the waiting was unbearable lol.

I also bought sega rally for the 360 before the console

Was vampire -  the masquerade any good? I remember buying this game  but only got the chance to play it for about 30min before my damn desktop died. took a while before i got it fixed/upgraded and the game was lost in space.

It was great, I really liked it. I can recommend giving it a go again
