the order of sales shouls stay like that imo.

with other big hitters in japan like yakuza 4 jap sales should remain high, god of war and gt5 round the corner the ps3 sales should excell forward now, rounding off next hioliday with agent.

In japan you also have resonance of fate & a few more JRPG's like SO4

they could move systems

I think FFXIII will move more PS3's than 360's

all depends of specific offers from Sony/MS

It seems MS has given some money to get Last remanant/infinite discovery/SO4 exclusivity
all depends if they continue or not

we now know that 360 is really not the perfect console for RPG and his handicaped by his restrcited jhapan userbase

it is time to see if SE will go back on a pro-PS3 state or keep a neutral stance for FFXIII

I get the feeling MS has given up on getting exclusive content for JRPGs and the like.  All it needs is multi-platform in the West, for example with FXIII.

In the end MS clearly paid out or otherwise funded via other methods a fair few titles that did see them get past 1M in Japan, but really didn't prove worth the effort vs where PS3 now is in Japan.

I see zero return for MS going forward now with this strategy, and they do seem to have quit it themselves.  All MS needs is to make sure in West the title is on 360 now in a multiplatform version.

I think they are going to divery money and effort behind Natal now and consolidating their growth in US and Europe outside hardcore online crowd.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

who knows what the advertising stance will be

possibly neutral to get most sales

either way FFXIII will be heavily marketed

It seems Uncharted2 has no legs like DARTH PREDICTED.

What in your opinion qualify as "legs"?

Either I am looking at the wrong charts, you are misinformed or v.versa.

U2 did over 120K. How does that equal no legs?

If I am the one with misleading information then I humbly apologise.

OT:

Good sales for most

Ok sales for one.

PSP sales obviously the surprise if you take recent sales into account.

It's all back to normal next week, but wii and PS3 the big winners over the holidays in my opinion due to awesome sales (wii) and making up significant ground (ps3).

Justinian, psrock is being sardonic.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

@Demotruk, CGI and PSrock

Sorry. You are right. I missed the sarcasm. I feel stupid.

Apologises PSrock.

I will now go snowboarding in my garden with Cronos (my dog).

HOLD ON, I remember now.

Darth posted on this thread:

"SOFTWARE UP

............NSMB Wii just misses 10 million!
uncharted 2 did 46K.....still hanging in there...................."

That's what I thought PSrock's post was in response to.

46K in NA is legs justin!

What a cool name for a dog, cronos, what breed is he of?

I HAVE A DOG TOO!

I think the coming weeks will see a return to normality with all systems substantially down as the holiday effect fades.

PS3 will slowly erode 360 market share by approx 50k a week on average. Meaning a potential closing of the gap by 2.5 million this year.

Of course price cuts could change that but I dont see either side blinking anytime soon.
