If you like lots of transformations and upgrades, it'll be your favorite anime ever. For me, it was above average. I'll remember it most for undoubtedly having one of the sexiest female leads in anime.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a FANTASTIC anime. One of my favorites. Its not better then Code Geass though. Code Geass has like the best and most surprising plot twists you'll find in an anime IMO.

Watched four episodes. Hated it beyond a descriptible level. One of the worst animes ever in my opinion, the characters were too damn annoying

The first 7 eipsode of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are pretty weak, it gets WAY more epic once you get to episode 7.
