Lets look at teh sales of GoW vs MGS in America (PS3 versions)

GoW 1 - 2.48m

GoW II - 1.87m

MGS2 - 2.29m

MGS3 - 1.42m

What is bigger in America again ?

The sales in EU will be better than US for GT series..

well, not looking super far in the future, I would go something like this

1) GT5 - 8-10m
2) MGS4 - 4.5m
3) Resistance - 3.6m
4) LBP - 3.5m
5) Motorstorm - 3.5m
6) GT5:P - 3.45m
7) Uncharted 2 3.xxm (could move up the list if it has legs or gets bundled like Uncharted was)
8) Uncharted - 3m
9) God Of War 3 - 2-3m (could go as high as the #3 spot, but I'm not holding my breath)
10) Killzone 2 - 2.2m

Obviously there are other big exclusives that could jump up the list, but given the information we know now, this is what it will probably look like over the next year. As a final note, I put some games the same as their current total, but that is because they are so old now, they sell very small amounts outside of holidays. Obviously they will creep up, but generally at the same pace

Current top exclusives on the PS3 (just for reference):

1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (4.46)
2. Resistance: Fall of Man (3.65)
3. MotorStorm (3.51)
4. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (3.47)
5. LittleBigPlanet (2.98)

Looking at these 5 titles, and looking at the potential sales of Gran Turismo 5... I'd say it can hit the top pretty easily. Time will tell.

We're talking WW here It just that you seem extra high today, probably because of all the GOW talk.

Plus the OP is wrong. 

GT5 will sell:

6.5 million in EU + Others,

2.5 in NA,

1.2 in Japan.

Total: 10.2 million. Though I think GT5 has a chance to reach 11 million.

Gow 3 will sell 2 million in NA alone based on the sales of the other 2 games. No piracy too.

We dont have hard data for Europe for the other 2 games.

I think you are seriously underestimating Uncharted 2. With American sales this week, it should be at 2.65m, and given Uncharted 1 had only sold 750k by the end of its year of release, and has sold at least 2m copies without taking bundling into account, that will be good for 4m

Anyway, GT 5 is very obviously going to win this, as there will be no GT 6, and every gen the best selling PS exclusive has been GT. (SA was only timed) The real battle is for 2nd place, with the main contenders being Versus XIII, MGS 4, Uncharted 2/3 and LittleBigPlanet, all of which can push 5m {LBP is going to keep selling for some time}

what are you smoking, the data is right there. We don't have weekly data, but that doesn't change the fact that we do have data. Chains of Olympus did even worse. I think it will land in the 2-3m range, which isn't bad at all. I also stated that it could do better than the first GoW, but generally it seems like the game is on a decline.

GT is a safe bet i'd say,

i think UC2 will get near to MGS4 eventually though,if bundled as nordlead says and word of mouth,it is a great game to play

Its funny that I just realized, 1 exclusive on other console could outsell Ps3 top 5 exclusives..
