Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What I'd like to see from The Conduit 2.

Local multi-player and split-screen multi-player online as well.

The ability to play the online modes offline with bots (most Wii owners are not online and also good for noobs to get practice and build skill before getting endlessly slaughtered online) and bots in general if you're just online with a couple friends and don't want strangers but want more to shoot at.

No game destroying crashes in online

Better art direction

Less generic.

Use WM+ (chainsaw, some interesting alien weapons)

Make much better use of the ASE or leave it out. Nice concept, not so fun in practice

Some kind of filter technology for Wii Speak to filter out background noise

More fun - maybe more power-ups in online

Running... Everyone seems to walk. If you don't want everyone to just be running all the time, map running to 'chuk waggle. It'll be used sparingly or your arm will cramp. lol.

While a little off topic, I'd like to say that this generation my favorite local multiplayer games are the ones that don't require you to split the screen. I never used to mind having some fraction of the screen to play with, but honestly I have little interest in split screen games anymore. Though that just may be because there are so few good splitscreen games these days.

Games like NSMBWii, LBP, Worms Armageddon, Castle Crashers, Brawl, and the PixelJunk series are the best as local multi is done without having the screen split.

I seriously do not want a split screen FPS anymore. I just don't.

I, too, can't stand splitscreen multiplayer games. In the past, I didn't mind, but nowadays, I *hate* it.

I forgot to note the ASE should also have a cursor as it's too easy to track the Wiimote off screen.

And I know some of you don't like splitscreen, but for an FPS that's about what is needed to work, unless you are using the co-op mode in the Call of Duty games.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Yes, really build upon the ASE, what it was used for in the game was pretty lame, although Invisible enemies and hidden messages were fine, mines and locks sucked.

And for the no friend codes thing, since I guess SEGA isnt doing mature-ish Wii games anymore, maybe a studio like EA would take them over, EA Nation would be sweet.

Also Capcom is making it so friend codes are not needed for Monster Hunter 3.

What I would like to see in Conduit 2 is it being more like Half Life 2 than Halo.

O and....

-some semblance of art direction
-gameplay
-non-glitchtastic online

maybe then i will slightly consider it. After being burned on Conduit 1.

I want the ability to connect to an online match without having to wait 20 minutes, then wait 15 more to get "unstuck" from the random black floor.

So basically
-a locked frame-rate (optimize the engine and the graphical downgrade wont be very noticeable)
-more than 2 enemies (a color swap doesnt count)
-local multiplayer
-an overall more polished experience

Honestly, i though TC1 is a decent game at best, even on the Wii. HVS will really need to sell me on TC2 before i buy that. The grinder looks much more promising.

BETTER ART DIRECTION! I cannot stress this more.
16 player multiplayer
No friend codes PLEASE!!!
Motion Plus only
Local multiplayer through LAN
Online Co-op campaign
Balance Board support
Level editor

Things that need to die in 2016: Defeatist attitudes of Nintendo fans

Make the gameplay faster... With weapons that aren't bland. I'd also like the levels in single player mode to be less linear.

better art direction

don't know if this is a Nintendo or HVS thing, but now that there is support for up to 32 gb SD cards maybe it is possible - built in ability to patch the game through DLCs

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Nintendo seems to update their channels and wiiware games alot (dont forget Wii Sports Resort, either), so why don't they for retail games, or atleast let third parties do it?
