That wasn't a test for the SC series. That was a test for hack & slash games. They could have ported III to the Wii with motion controls and that would have been a proper test for the actual series.

And why did the Wii need to be tested for that but not the HD systems? It was just an excuse.

Obviously it was a test to see how much of their fanbase went to the Wii.  Whether it sold by merit or by fanbase, either would have been successful but it did neither.

A watered-down spinoff is not going to move the fanbase. Not even Nintendo would test Super Mario fans with Mario Kart.

Why should Nintendo always have to do everything?

lazy ass developers..

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

what mature games from nintendo?
they've never done 1

Nintendo has published a handful, and owns the rights to Eternal Darkness' Sanity Effect (I'm not sure if they actually own the entire IP or not though). Sort of like Next Level Games developing Punch-Out!! it is still a Nintendo game.

yes, but they never DEVELOPED a single one

And...do they have to?

Nintendo has said since day one on the NES they make games for 'all ages'.  It seems to have gotten them pretty far.  I can't think of one company who makes strictly M rated games who has gotten to the level of Nintendo.  The biggest companies out there that I can think of that focuses on M rated games are Blizzard and Rockstar, and they don't even come close to Nintendo.

Nintendo has titles like Metroid, Fire Emblem and etc, all Teen.  And you know what, many people who like the 'M' games tend to like these games as well.  They're doing just fine.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Why do people forget about Geist developed by Nintendo and N-space.... here is a link.

LINK

From Wiki

"After about eight months of work,[24] n-Space finished the prototype and sent it to Nintendo of America, from which it was sent to Nintendo. Nintendo latched onto the game, and it was decided N-Space and Nintendo would work together to develop the game.[24][7] After six months, object possession was introduced in the game after some suggestions from Shigeru Miyamoto.[23] Geist was first shown to the public at the E3 2003 and it was later stated that Geist would be released the same year.[5] In the months after the E3 both companies realized they "weren't working on the same game"; N-Space had envisioned Geist to be a first-person shooter while Nintendo (more specifically, Kensuke Tanabe[25]) considered it to be a first-person action-adventure. The adjustments caused the game to be delayed many times until it was finally released two years later in 2005, but Geist was present at both the E3 2004 and E3 2005. "

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Geist?

and they didn't developed it by themselfes

"and they didn't developed it by themselfes"

Now you're backtracking. You did not have developing solely as a qualifier before. Unless you forgot to add it before, but if not, don't think throwing it now prevents you from being wrong.

Blizzard doesn't focus on "Mature" rated games ... Two of the three big series they have (Warcraft and Starcraft) have always received Teen ratings from the ESRB

I think they do need to develop an M game

Dunno man, I dunno about Punch Out being a "Mature" game per-say, I could be wrong. ED probably. When I think of mature games I think of RE4 Wii, or Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 on PS2 and so on. Punch Out is to much like a caricature to be taken seriously and thrown in with the "mature" bunch, but then again we may have entirely different views on "mature" content.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.
