IMO MGS4 is one of the best games ever made, i even think that it is underrated. It is a story based game, yes, if you don't like to look 7 hours videos in a game, you'll not going to like it. But for me, who prefer games with good stories it is amazing. The gameplay of MGS is really unique, so they're not going to change it and the voice acting didn't bother me.

Xbox: Suteki, Fatal Frame II DC, Jade Empire. 360: Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey, Dead or Alive 4.

I've only played MGS2 out of the series, but it was so bad I couldn't finish it - and I obsessively finish nearly every game I play. If MGS4 is anything like it, I have no interest in playing it.

Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, and the Uncharteds are the games I'll get with my PS3.

If you wanna tell me that it's not the best game of this gen, then I have to agree.

I loved the cinematics and the story, but the gameplay wasn't that great. I only played because I wanted to see the next cutscene.
The boss fights were pretty good though.

On topic: I really haven't played enough to comment. The game is very story based =, and since I haven't played any of the others I didn't know what was going on

Its my favorite game of all time. And I'm not a HUGE game of any of the other's (MGS2 was pretty good, couldn't even finish 3). Everyone is entitled to their opinion, though.

Shall i make a thread asking the top 5 most overrated games this gen? And shall we see how many times Halo 3 and Gears come up? Do you really want me to? 'Cause i will... Just to prove a point.

And yes, asking him that question makes it an okay post, as it is on topic... And it would also help with understanding why he thinks it is overrated.
