yep I thoguht as much and when numbers as of Jan 9th come, should be near 66 Million, or min 65.75 Million.

Their projection is until March 31st. 2010. I think they are about 2m down, so not too bad in the end. Could have been a lot worse. Might even get a bit closer if they have a good Q1.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

On top of this the year 08 was a all time record for console sales, to be anywhere near there is quite exceptional

Wel by March 31st Wii should have moved quite a bit of unites by then as long as Nintendo thinks they've sold enough wii up to then it's all good, I'de say 68.67 Million wii's should have been sold then, but I thought wii could topple 70 million then but I've had a chat with norldead and he thinks othersiwe so I think it's best if I agree with him most of the time.

Well, Americas proved to be a bridge too far for the Wii. However 814k this time of year is really good and i did read somewhere on this site that it was supply-constrained in the U.S. Oh, Nintendo, how could you? You should have learned the lessons from '08 and ensured there were enough shipped! Who knows, if they had done this, there could have been 6 straight 1m weeks, a fantastic achievement. Guess we will never know now....

I think so. It was mentioned twice in threads. Americas numbers do look a bit low compared to the rest, i have to say, though.

I'm shocked at the American numbers, I figured it would hit 300K easily. Oh well!
