So? Modern Warfare 2 is selling very well, and has currently outsold NSMB Wii. Infact, in 2009 we could say MW2 has slaughtered NSMB Wii... If it makes you happy?

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

What's crazy, many on this site expected no leg after the big opening week. While we are all impress by the amazing numbers NSMB is putting up, mw2 is acheivement is just as great. I am not a big fan of the game, but this game in just 2 months is the PS3 second best selling game ever, top five on the 360 and it's doing it in just 2 territories, while NSMB has Japan.

MW2's achievement is MASSIVE

in 7 weeks it outsold COD4 & Grand Theft Freakin Auto 4!

in 7 weeks it became the top selling HD title

Oh & hey its showing better legs than COD4 did in its first holiday season

If we didn't have analysts making crazy predictions what would we talk about on this site.

Having said that the Wii, as with all consoles, will begin to decline sooner or letter and whether it's this year or next or the year after, there's going to be someone who stands up and says, "Ha, I told you it was a fad."

His prediction seems pretty accurate for the Ps3 in North America, I don't see it hitting a 10%yoy, more like a 5%, and I don't think his analysis accurately reflect how well Natal is going to drive 360 sales, which I see having a huge impact on the holiday season. I'm sure the wii will remain pretty steady maybe up 5% maybe down 5% but that's fine either way.

You lost me with the Uncharted 2 bit there. I seem to recall a lot of people falling overthemselves laughuing when someone suggested Uncharted 2 could sell 2 million in 2009, with many saying it would struggle to reach 1 million in 2009. How is it that a game a lot of people were expecting to have a modest start was expected to shift a lot of hardware? I think, without much exaggeration everyone, was ZOMG!!! at Uncharted 2's opening week, and the legs it's carried through to the end of the year.

KZ2 is of course a whole other story.

That's gonna be awesome.  I just hope I'm logged into VGC when it happens.

I can't wait until the Wii's up at 120 million and people start foaming at the mouth claiming the fad is going to fade away before it outsells the PS2.
