Doesn't bothe me much.
What DOES bother me are the face buttons: A/B and X/Y are the opposite of their Nintendo incarnations. Seems like half the time on my 360 I reflexively hit the wrong one, or, these days, vice versa on my DS.
WHY Microsoft, why? It doesn't make a button layout more creative to switch the naming around. Just obnoxious.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

lol never thoguht of it that way

If you've played with a Dreamcast controller, then you shouldn't have a problem with the 360 controller. M$ hijacked that controller, pretty much.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

You get used to it eventually, It took me forever to get used to the ps2 controller after having every Nintendo console before it, I still forget where circle and square buttons are if I go long periods of time without playing it! Where areas I never forget where the NES through Gamecube buttons are!

actually thats one of the reasons why i got confused when i first used the original xbox controller, the colors where scrambled and my brain cells with it.

^I concur. Always made since to me that t=trigger and b=bumper.

i second this

Long Live SHIO!

If you look at the writing on the B/T you'll notice it's inverted, so when you turn it the right way round the triggers are on the top and the bumpers are on the bottom. This would mean your naming system is right and you fail at using it. Simple really.

I think that's the 1st time I heard the RB & RT explained like that.
