Famitsu/Enterbrain has posted their hardware sales report for Japan in 2009. The exact dates are from December 29, 2008 to December 27, 2009. Here is the data below:
Nintendo DS - 4,025,313 (29,160,589 total)
PSP - 2,307,971 (13,386,455 total)
Nintendo Wii - 1,975,178 (9,501,999 total)
Playstation 3 - 1,727,041 (4,391,407 total)
Xbox 360 - 331,706 (1,197,873 total)
with this, I just won my bet! it was closer than I expected though...
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
PS3 and Wii being so close just goes to show how easily things can change.

OH dont worry, ioi, TheSource and their gang will be celebrating how they just about beat the PS3, and not how the system has lost a million in sales.

So according to Famitsu, Vgchartz tracked Wii figures acurately but Media Create had a closer track on PS3 figures?
