I personally wouldn't get MW2 at all and would instead get Battlefield Bad Company 2 since the PC beta is coming out in 2 weeks.

I have been playing the PS3 beta and must admit that this is FINALLY a real battlefield game. I'll be getting the PC version because of the enhancements and controls but would highly urge any old school battlefield fan to keep an eye on that game regardless of the platform. DICE is finally returning to form and is actually developing the game to use the strengths of each platform.

40 players online for PC
DX11 support for PC
MOD SUPPORT!!
Squad play expanded (PC version will get commanders like BF2)

This game completely kicks any COD game right out the window.
It really reminds me of BF2 but updated.

lol it's not like I never played a FPS online with my PC using a 360 controller.

The truth is, mouse and keyboard are for noobs who have very little skills with aiming.It takes real skil to play FPS with a controller. PC gamers should play MW2 on PC and than go play Killzone 2 on PS3. I can assure you they're gonna get pwned hard.

Personally, I'd rather be playing with a mouse and keyboard given the choice. However, I wasn't a fan of the crap the PC version was getting so I just rented it on the PS3, beat it, and that was that.

Obviously the choice is yours so do whatever you feel more comfortable with.

Probably by playing an Engineer. Let's see how you fare in UT or Quake, or hell, CSS. Dual analog is a laughably bad and limiting control mechanic for FPS.

Also the PC version is NOT cheaper, it's $60. So I say "fuck you" IW/Activision, pirate the game, install the hack that lets you play on IWNet and all official servers, and flick off Activision/IW. That's how a normal person should approach MW2, maybe they will learn not to fuck with PC versions next time. Also if you feel too terrible, send them a $10 check, which is about what this game is worth on the PC.

MW2 on PC is a piece of crap, like it or not its not a good game, and Modern Warfare always had the most noobish aiming in an FPS (it seriously have this auto aim thing in it). so playing it with even one hand while the other is covering your eyes is going to be easy.

You can play against people with the retail version with that, includes the favorite DM map, and unless your PC is from the last millenium you can run it.

I also have access to a server we can use, let's see you get more than 3 frags on me. Otherwise GTFO with your ignorant bullshit.

 

P.S. I hope you don't rely on the Auto-Aim all console FPSes have, cause none on the PC do.
