Which territory (if any) will Wii overtake PS2 LTD numbers first?

I read elsewhere on this site that the Wii had broken a PS2 sales record last week for most consoles sold in a week. So with this record gone, i was inspired to make a thread. I know this is probably going to ruffle some feathers so if you don't like the content, there is no need to post. My question is this:-      Which territory (U.S., Japan etc.) do you see the Wii overtaking PS2 first LTD, if at all. My guess would be U.S. or U.K. going by sales trends, or maybe one of the smaller sales areas. Brazil is cheating though, as i understand PS2 has only just released there.

Others most likely. Wii is already at 24 million if I'm correct. Than U.S. Though Japan. NEVER!

USA seems more favourable to Wii, so I would think Wii could top PS2 there first.

Thought it might be others too but thought it would be even better if narrowed down to a particular part of others? Agree with your thoughts on Japan though.

Wii is closer tops2in Japoan (% wise) than Others.

I think America will fall first.

If it does it probably won't be for a long time lol
I think it probably would be the US or parts of Others first because the Wii is trending way below the PS2 in Japan.

Wii can do it in USA and Others but I think it doesn't ever pass PS2 in Japan. Japan is handheld territory nowadays.

Just researched a bit (by browsing the site) and i'd say Australia will be first, just by looking at numbers and the size of the market. Maybe France will be close, too. Whichever it is, though it's not gonna be for a long time.

I think it will do it everywhere. It dosn't make sense, and I thought that things would change, but people just continue to buy the Wii. Now I must leave for this makes me sad.
