-The superiors seems to be Wii supporters.

-The wii seems to be left out in most discussion.

-The majority seems to be Sony supporters with an elite bunch but imo majority of them seems to be the most annoying out of all others.

-There are a few but vocal & tight 360 supporters.

-Majority of the 'most discussed' microsoft threads are mostly associated with negative 360 discussion.

-PC area seems like a graveyard, with a single gravedigger.

-Opinions =/= Facts is a popular discussion in threads

-A site with core emphasis on sale, yet discussion 90% of the time seems to be about things not related to sale.

-Very controlled environment, banning seems to occur quite frequently.Humorous thread seems rare

-And lastly, my golly, this site has too many things going on. And too many ads if i may add.

so yeah, i just want to post my first impression of this site. If i had to rate this site i'll give it a 3 1/2 out of 5.

Not spot on, but pretty true none the less I'd say.

I would disagree with the controlled environment. Depending on the system you can get away with trolling the living hell out of it. I don't think people even bother to report PSP trolling anymore, and it is ridiculous. This coming from someone who doesn't even like the system!

Sad thing about the humorous threads being rare. A lot of our lively participants either quit posting , got banned, or suddenly became serious. A couple years ago, we were at our best.

I'd agree on the ads, the basic demographics (I hope I'm not in the annoying PS3 owner camp!) and the PC forum.

I feel like a part time gravedigger and rarely even look in it anymore even though I still use my PC plenty for gaming.

Also, humorous threads do seem scarcer right now - must the recession, we're all depressed. Make on and I'll view it for sure.

What do you think of the sales tracking? Or any other aspect of the site (game database, news, prediction league, the charts themselves)? The forum is only one.

I find this forum to have many fewer trolls, fanboys, etc. than other forums - more people you can have a logical discussion with, supported by facts and links.

There are more Wii owners here because no other forum userbase on the internet is prepared to admit the Wii is winning and the only consistently profitable console. But we have data.

I don't even think I've been in the on-topic forums for nearly a year, this was one of the reasons why. That and I've pretty much given up on playing computer games (although I did complete Mario RPG over Christmas). Also I seldom have anything interesting to say... About anything.

In fact, why do I even come to this site?

Most of those seem about right....

Although the controlled environment bit I kinda disagree with, there's funny threads here and there, it's just that people don't make 'em.
