This is my analogy for the two games' campaigns, and should explain pretty clearly why I feel the way I do about them.
Uncharted 2 is like a romantic passionate night of love making. It has pacing, and build-up, and incredible climaxes. It's a memorable, satisfying, and fulfilling experience that will stick with you for years to come.
Modern Warfare 2 is like jumping right in, blowing your load, and passing out. Yeah, it was fun. It also was extremely shallow, had no build-up, and wasn't particularly special. It was nothing but a wild ride without any pacing or development to give it substance.
Of course, sex is always awesome, but while one experience will be a treasured one for many years, another is simply a passing pleasure, without depth, pacing, or development.
