This "bet" is just crappy PR talk from reggie's part, I don't remember if he said that it will outsell both versions of the game or just the PS3/360 version, whatever it is just US or world wide, shipped or sold...etc.

IMO?? No it won't out sell MW2, maybe after this generation of console is over, MAYBE.

No doubt Ninty traditionally has good games and great 1st party games, noone will take that away from them but what jarypo said is true, and that's where you can see clearly the casual market vs core gamers within the Wii side. 360 actually has alot of amazing games and I have borrowed the 360 for some of them. Despite Halo being a milked franchise, Halo 3 was still good and a solid multiplayer. If you wanna talk about milked though you can look at SE with Final Fantasy, or Ninty with Mario and Zelda. Then we have Gears of War which redefined what a TPS should be with a very refined cover system, ME although not my cup of tea, ends up being an amazing rpg experience that few games currently can rival. Then you have of course Fable, LO, Crackdown,etc. PS3 also has heavy hitters that can easily rival and beat anything the Wii has produced Demon's Souls, VC, Disgaea 3, InFamous, KZ2, Resistance series, Ratchet and Clank (yes I admit this has been slightly milked), Uncharted series (who has been getting the big GOTY's? ...yea, thought so). You can sit here and flaunt the sales of the Wii, it is actually a wonderful piece of hardware and I have had nothing but good things to say about it, mainly in the genius that was RE4 for that console along with Muramasa and NMH, but to discredit the amazing lineup the PS3 and 360 have in comparison along with how much software the 360 pushes all across the board despite a small install base just shows ignorance.

Actually I did, but I am playing Triple Triad (FF8 minigame) so in between little breaks I type as fast as I can and then make my next move. I lost the Diablos card and recently got it back. you should check out my triple triad thread lol.

No, I do not think that NSMBWii will pass MW2 in the Americas by the end of January.

I do, however, think it will have passed it's lifetime sales by quite a margin by then.

Why do people care about this? It is clear which of them is the better game and sales figures do not change that.
