3. Zelda Wii could be releasing.

4... For every "big" game you mentioned, there is a "big" game to combat it on PS3, and that's with only knowing half of the lineup.

The rest i aint even heard of before... But list warz was fun. And i'm sure Soriku or someone will want to add a whole bunch of Wii games to the list, capable of matching things on both 360 and PS3.

your right the ps3 does match the xbox 360 in terms of exclusives.i did state that in the opening artice though.also i dont think half life 2 episode 3 will come out on ps3. valve has said they hate deleloping on the ps3 and dont want to do it agian.

Orange Box was published on PS3 by EA. So there is every change Episode 3 could do the same thing

May be and speculation are about the same damn thing.  And its not fanboy speculation because not everyone who thinks its gonna happen is a fanboy.

Mhm the ps3 has a better line up than the 360 based on what has been announced..

but unlike last year, the 360 has a significantly better line up than 2008 and 2009.

Wii also has a much better line up this year than last based on what has been announced with:

No more heroes 2

Super mario galaxy 2

and potentially METROID OTHER M

3 likely contenders for AAA ip on the wii (something they haven't seen in a while)


The Playstation 3 on the other hand has:

Gran turismo 5 (biggest Playstation game in terms of sales, and one of the best racers ever)

The last guardian (Team ICO's project)

Final fantasy XIV (MMO on PC, square is bidding alot of this one)

Yakuza 3 (reviewed amazingly well in japan)

White knight Chronicles (first true JRPG to release on PS3 in the west)

God of war 3 (likely GOTY contendor based on the series alone)

Heavy rain ( a game sony says is going to introduce a new genre)

Modnation racers *huge potential here, based on the beta, may top mario kart in terms of quality*

MAG (256 PLAYER FULL SCALE MULTIPLAYER BATTLE)

and used to be 360 exclusives like STAR OCEAN, TALES OF VESPERIA, and more are also headed west bound..

You already listed the 360 line up, so we can compare, but the PS3 still ends up on top with the currently announced ip, and I am sure there is more, RESISTANCE 3 will LIKELY be announced for Q4, AGENT is announced, but release date is unknown, and Twisted metal is another one that is looking to be a Q4 release.

how can you think reach will only sell 3-6m. halo 3 will have sold about 12m by the time reach comes out so how could you think only half that for reach. odst will finish with about 6m sales so.

1. odst was a game with a very small campaign and no competitive multiplayer

2. odst only had solid reviews

3. odst was basically an expansion

4. reach will be marketed much much more.

5. halo 3 came out when there was an instal base of ~18m and when reach coms out there will be double. will be very important because of all the marketing reach will get.

so i think reach should sale a lot more then 12m actually. more like 13-15m

i think both have sweet exclusives but i doubt xbox360 dominates.... i have both and will be getting splinter cell,reach,alan wake,mass effect 2 for xbox360 while ps3 i will be getting the last guardian , god of war III, MAG or GT5....... these are just exclusives happy that both systems came into play this year....

i was almost having no use for my xbox360 in the year of 2009 if it wasnt for forza

good gaming cant wait : ) blu ray might be the big selling point of the ps3 tho in 2010 especially cuz every best buy i went too is really promoting it.

i just hope 360 dont try and give us garbage like halo odst what a FAIL that game was in terms of quality

i just dont think resistance 3 will be an exclusive. insomniac has talked about multiplatform quit a bit and i think it was because R2 sold badly compared to the first game. god i hope they go multiplatform. i loved there spyro and ratchet n clank games.
