incorrect, both me and Dan were discussing it with Doug Lombardi. We have a good relationship with them. They just dont want us to know their numbers. I think integration as long as we dont track our users purchases like you suggest, we migt be able to get that.

 

Also your actually incorrect on who trusts us, developers dont trust our software, but our hardware numbers they have barely any issues with.

I've NEVER said anything about anyone trusting the site.

I just want to see closer integration between Steam and VGChartz.  I'm not asking for full sales data.  If you guys have been talking to Doug then I would love to see you suggest to have the same integration as Giant Bomb and in return offering up links to steampowered.com for games that Steam sells.

I would think the reason Valve declined Vgchartz was that this site is pretty much a console website with hundreds of fanboys saying "PC Gaming is dead" without even being punished.

Hell, if it weren't for my insistence (and others) people here would keep counting games like Mass Effect as exclusives, ignoring the PC version entirely.

And there's pretty much no Top News of PC Gaming here. We get the random weekly Steam news and nothing else(plus news for other Steam deals).

You seem like the perfect person to be in charge of the PC side of this website then! Make a petition for it! And while you're at it, don't bash consoles as often as you do, and maybe PC's won't be bashed as often. Hell, I love them both.

You are right about the news thing. The lack of news about MW2 dedicated servers just showed how bad the site was about PC news, the fact its price went up to $60 as well.

Wow, talk about hostility! I am just curious as to know how VGC collects data. I am sorry if my earlier post sounded a bit insulting, but it was intended that way when I was typing it. I just wanted to know how VGC staff collects data. I am curious.
