Steam + VGChartz suggestion

That leads me to believe that maybe ioi wasn't involved with contacting steam directly and it was probably a request through Steam's forum or e-mail system which never reached Gabe or anyone with the ability to say yay or nay at Steam/Valve.

incorrect, both me and Dan were discussing it with Doug Lombardi. We have a good relationship with them. They just dont want us to know their numbers. I think integration as long as we dont track our users purchases like you suggest, we migt be able to get that.

 

Also your actually incorrect on who trusts us, developers dont trust our software, but our hardware numbers they have barely any issues with.

I've NEVER said anything about anyone trusting the site.

I just want to see closer integration between Steam and VGChartz.  I'm not asking for full sales data.  If you guys have been talking to Doug then I would love to see you suggest to have the same integration as Giant Bomb and in return offering up links to steampowered.com for games that Steam sells.
