FFVIII technically did get a 90 if you round it. Those reviews aren't going to be counted by gamerankings or metacritic. Is FFXIII that disappointing?

Yeah, I'm sure they are reading, the same kind of comments they've been reading for years, when one side likes the game and another, doesn't. Funny how that works...

I completely disagree. It doesn't much matter what ratings it will receive. If it gets high ratings, it'll be overrated and if receives low ratings then it'll be a bad game.

With something Final Fantasy, everyone has a strong opinion.

The biggest complaint I hear is that the game is linear. The linearity of the game does make sense from a story standpoint. The characters are on the run from a corrupt government. It wouldn't have made sense to give you freedom.

yes, FF games will get high ratings just because they are final fantasy games.

Well, XII was one of my favorite PS2 games, and I couldn't care less if it was called Final Fantasy XII or Crap Tacular I. I loved the hell out of it, and I challenge anyone who didn't like to play it to the point where you actually craft a Tournesol, and then repeat those sentiments. :P

So at least a few people(most actually, there is just a vocal minority) agree with critics on that one.
