At least one developer gets you need to build motion in from the ground up.
That speaks well for Sony's chances of getting some good games for its wand.

Naughty Dog is an Elite Developer and it shows with everything they do. I have a developer in the family, when hes not at work , working , hes at home playing Uncharted 2 and all the other great games out there to see what other developers are doing , and he spins his own ideas off other games. Great Developers are just like us, Gamers at heart, They just get to make some amazing games, then they play the other amazing games to get there next idea.

Do you think this is a coincidence that a Sony developer (a Sony subsidiary?) suddenly starts to say good words about the Wii? Now of all times? Could be, but to me it looks like this is preparing the ground for Sony's wand by legitimizing motion control. Read the message between the lines - "...They’re immensely playable and competitive, and just great fun with a group of people in the same room. Yeah, I think the PlayStation audience is totally for it... If there is some really good software for that motion controller, I think it can be a big, big success.”

bmmb1 IS on to something. ND is probably hard at work making a motion control game from the ground up. They want consumers to believe they can bring the same great experience of the Wii on top of everything else the PS3 does. If they are ever going to see PS3 break the hundred million mark they need to tap into the audience the Wii stole away from them. They are already 30 million in on the audience MS has been trying to steal away, but the titles that did well on the PS2 when it was the casual gamer's choice aren't nearly as successful on PS3. Whether they can do that is highly questionable.

That's what I saw when I ead this. Sounds like Sony is trying to backtrack, as always, about its stances. It's starting to remind me of the controller rumble....
