Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Natal to kill local multiplayer

what make mini-games so great on the wii is the local multiplayer on the same console but how are we supose to do that on Natal?

Also, all the best selling fps on the 360 have some sort of split-screen either in the campaing or some other mode and that's what make the xbox360 so great for fps.

what yall think?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

wasn't there something about how Natal could recognize multiple people? I think I remember something like that.

...

How big does your livingroom need to be to have more than one person on the camera swinging his arms n whatnot?

Your right Torillian, it can recognize multiple people.

I remember one trailer where somebody was racing a car then he pulled off and some other guy changed his tires

Natal supports 4 players.

You do realize that a single Natal can track four players simultaneously, right? It also sounds like it will be significantly cheaper than buying four Sony wands, or four Wiimotes+attachments.

(I'm still skeptical that Natal games will actually work very well, but that's another matter.)

What happens
when ur playing a sensitive game, someone walks right in front of you? Will it ignore the person?

you sure about that? from the footage we can see on the site the thing seems to have enough trouble traking one person
