@Cactus
I finished FFIII on my DS and I enjoyed it a lot! This game has everything a classic JRPG has but it's a little hard for some people.
I agree with everything else

XII and IX, the two most underrated games in the series. Should be #1 and 2 respectively.
KylieDog said: XII > All. |
Well everybody has their own opinions. I have XII down at the bottom of my list, ranked just above the crap that was VIII.
starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."
Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"
good list , i cant agree more
Atto Suggests...:
Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Game - Metro Last Light
TV - Deadwood
Music - Forest Swords
FFIX
FFVII
FFX=FFVI (X was my first, so i'm nostalgic about it, yet VI is, objectively, better than X)
FFIV
FFVIII
FFV
Never bothered playing I-III and XII.
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
FF VI is the best on the series for many RPG's gamers (me included) because the highest standars on everything at the whole marvelous game,is almost flawless, don't misunderstand this with the blindly praise that mainstream devotes to FF VII (One of the best, but falls short against FF VI,an example? the number of the main cast and their character deep development).
FF VI was the game that made me knew that I will play videogames forever,'til the day I die
i think we can all agree that they got the right top four, we all have different opinions on how they place, but 4,6,7,10 are clearly the best in series. whichever order you put in them in. despite early negative critisism we might see 13 in there as well as people get over the changes, people hated 10 as well when it came out, now its recognized for its grreatness years later.

4. Final Fantasy X |
Meghan Sullivan: Like Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X was a major milestone for the franchise. Not only was it a huge leap forward in terms of graphics (dropping pre-rendered backgrounds for 3D areas) and gameplay (introducing the Conditional Turn-Based Battle system and allowing players to swap characters in and out of their party during battle), but it was the first Final Fantasy to feature voice acting. These features, together with a compelling storyline and a stellar soundtrack, have solidified Final Fantasy X as one of the most popular games in the franchise. To date it has sold more than six million copies and is the only Final Fantasy game thus far to have its own sequel.
Or rather, it was the first to have a sequel until a game that came out ten years before it (FFIV) got a sequel five years later (FFIV: The After Years).
(Also, I might argue that the original Final Fantasy has had ~12 sequels.)
