It's not exactly the way I would make my list, but it's close enough and you certainly can't argue that it's way off the mark.

My list would look like this:

4- VII
5- IV

Or something like that. lol

Versus XIII will soon be number 1! Muhahahaha!

Damn, that ended up being harder than I thought. So...doesnt matter how you list them, they are all great (I wanted to love FFVIII but the draw magic system just ruined the game for me. Other than that it was fantastic.)

Close, mine would go like this:

1. FFIV
2. FFX
3. FFVI
4. FFVII
5. FFI
6. FFVIII

And that's all I've played so far.

Yeah my favorite Final Fantasy is IX and X, so I was hoping IX would be higher.

Well, since others are doing it, I may as well post what my listing would be:

FF6 (Though 5 and 6 are VERY close, switching them wouldn't bother me.)

FF9 (After this one, I find it easier to remember backwards.)

Based on what I've heard, I suspect FF13 will fall around FF11, but I won't make the final call until I see it.

Ahh I see now I must have missed it... odd... FFIV was the first lol hell that was the big innovation that carried on for a freaking decade and still being used in games like FFIV the after years.

Final Fantasy V being out of the bottom 2 is surprising and Final Fantasy II being lower than than the first is also surprising.

And yes, it has gotten to the point where FFVI is the new FFVII. -_-

IX should be higher. It is such a polished and FUN entry in the series. People overlook it way too much.
I'm glad VII didn't win, it's good but overrated. I enjoyed X a lot more and also logged a lot more hours into it as to have left a very dear and lasting impression on me.
XII can burn in hell for all eternity. Except for the voice acting and the amazing graphics at the time.

I have a date with XIII on the 9th of March of 2010.

Haha, my 3 favorite FF games are all in the top 3, though I would rank IV above VII.

X and the craptacular VIII are way too high though, VIII would be last on my list. Even FFXIII is way better than that "game."
