I just don't get that much fun out of playing a shooter online. I buy them to kill my friends in local.

That is the weakest aspect of Killzone 2.

You're not the only one. I would have never gotten Killzone 2 had it not been bundled with my PS3

MW2 is heavily flawed as a multiplayer, and even single player really, but it can be fixed hopefully. Between the spawn campers and the ridiculously easy kills via autotarget I can't fathom how people even defend it.

I know how fun that is, but when your alone at night (you have a wife though) in your room and have nothing to do, playing online with a bunch of random people or psn friends, is just so much fun

Both are great, but for my taste Killzone 2 takes the cake.

I am a single player guy first and foremost, and I rarley get into multiplayer. Usually I try out the multiplayer componet of a game for 1 - 2 hours, but I have 12+ on Killzone 2. Modern Warfare 2 I played about 45min, and I was just COD4 again.

As for the single player this is were Killzone can not be argued. It puts you in the battlefeild better than any game I have ever played. Gernades and RPGS, can overload the line of sight with smoke to the point were it is blind fire. The infiltration into the heart of the helgan city is extreamly gratifying. K2 makes you feel the grind, the scratching and clawing.

My one complainte about K@ is they dropped the ball on the story. For me K1 was one of the best stories in an FPS. Somehow they totally blew it in K2.

I wouldnt really know cuz i dont have MW2 but KZ is fucking awesome

KZ2 has horrible controls, IMO. That makes the game unplayable for me. I'm glad I didn't buy it when I saw it on clearance about a week ago.

I don't know what to say... I played only a few hours of Killzone 2 (something like 2 or 3 hours). I can't say which game is the best but this is my opinion:

Killzone 2-> much better graphics and storyline (why in hell does people say the storyline isn't good? You will say this thing if you skip the damn cinematic your bastard! Don't skip the cinematic or I will kill you. Skip cinematics is a crime on any game! Maybe the storytelling isn't that great but the storyline IS great)

MW2-> much better gameplay and multiplayer modes.

I can't talk about the campaign because I finished MW2 but I didn't finished Killzone 2.

2 points for Killzone 2 and 2 points for MW2 if anyone wants to talk about the campaing and give the third point for one of the games, feel free to do so.
