If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

you could have said the same to gilgamesh...  but you didnt.  its almost as ludicrous.

Gilgamesh's prediction actually has a chance (very, very small chance) of happening. PS3 aint dropped below 240k since the cut... With all the big SW next year, i can see what he's getting at.

The Wii is down almost 20% from 2008, and there really isn't anything big coming to Wii in 2010. It could drop the price but it IS already $200 so dropping the price another $50 probably wouldn't be that big

Seems as though the Wii peaked in 2008, I see 2010 being worst then 2009 for the Wii.

The PS3 has a lot going for it now, selling for $299, having some of the best exclusives, the slim. Also there biggest games are coming out in 2010 and there getting 3D, the rise of Blu-ray, Gem. 2010 is going to be one of the best years for the PS3.

Oh yeh, the PS3 had a complete make over in these last few months, not to mention the PS3s biggest games will be coming in 2010, Gran Turismo is a big system seller Worldwide but mostly in Others. God of War is going to help in America, and there is alot of JRPG's already announced for the PS3 in 2010 so that'll help Japan even more.

It should be the PS3's biggest year, if not 2010 then 2011.

no it doesnt. zero chance.

Wii up 50%, PS3 up 100% and 360 up 25%

Wii being up is definately possible, mainly due to the cut and NSMB i also doubt Ninty will leave the first half of the year empty again.

PS3 being up is possible. As i said, it aint dropped below 240k since launch... All that big SW at the start of the year could definately keep the numbers high.

360 being up is the only bad thing he has... It will be flat, at best.

Gilgamesh is indeed predicting quite high, so that's a bit unbelievable.

However, Aion is predicting Xbox 360 over PS3. At least Gilgamesh takes the current selling patterns into account in his post to get the order right. On the other hand, Aion has always focused solely on Xbox 360 positive news, so it's not unthinkable his prediction is more a hope - which he's perfectly entitled to :)
