The most popular JRPG ever...
Press and gamers have been wanting it and requesting it for years (since the tech-demo!)
That said tech demo is the most viewed "Final Fantasy" video on Youtube.

I really dont get why people want this so much... we have all played it. A rermake wont be any better it will just look different.

I prefer looking forward to looking back.

I don't think it would take that long, 2 years max. We could see it by late 2011/ early 2012 sometime.

They have basicly everything already written for them, script... music... cast... etc. They have the voice actors and a template for every location. They don't have to waste time making a new game engine like they did for FF13/v13 etc.

The main reason people want it is nostalgia. And the visuals are really... Bad on the eyes, these days.

Look forward... To FF7 Remake!
