As long as GoW3 releases at the very end of March, i will see no problem.

Forget just GOW3 and FF13, there's such a packed Q1 that there's no way any developer will meet their expectations. I WANT MAG, Heavy Rain, GOW Collection(already out but too broke atm), GOW3, and FF13, AND I've heard rumors that ModNation Racers is due out Q1. That's $400. In VIDEOGAMES, mind you. That's ridiculous for one three-month period.

I'll be getting both. As far as sales go they are in different genres and GOW3 is only available for the PS3. Another thing is that the western market is massive so both games should have very long legs.

I don't see either one getting pushed back. I'll be getting both. You could just get one later than the other.

I will buy God of War 3 first day. I might get the God of War 3: Ultimate Trilogy Collection edition providing it is not too expensive.
I will buy Final Fantasy XIII months later when it has been heavily discounted.
Final Fantasy XIII is like a Resident Evil 5- a game that I would like to own but not one of the must buy games.

All the God of War games were released in march (i think) so I hope they push final fantasy back.



I am a loyal SONY fan and will always be.

I am also a PS1, PS2, PS3 and a PSP owner.

On what platform? Do you mean jsut the PS3, or does this include the 360? Do you think it could take steam away from Wii games?

I guess on the PS3 since its comparing against GoW3.

Im not exactly sure whats being released for the 360 around that time so i cant speak for FFXIII on the 360 but ill take a shot and guess that FFXIII on the 360 will beat any other 360 games thats being released that month eheh.

Could FFXIII on the 360 alone beat GoW3 for PS3 is a possibility.

And nothing can take steam away from Wii games.  Wii is just a beast underneath that sleek small cute look lol

I doubt that espeacially in US, also the pre-orders chart shows u that people want Gow 3 more.

lol we shall see.  I always enjoy the GoW series except sales seems to fall shorter than i hoped for seeing as how its one of Sony's best franchise.  Pre-orders doesnt always mean much, look at the pre-orders for MW2 and NSMB Wii.

Speaking of sales, i believe Gow 3 will sell more first week and more lifetime sales in US.

NSMB Wii is beating MW2 for PS3 currently is it not? and MW2 had like +700k preorders for PS3.  But unless you're only talking about first week in which i was refering to now, as well MW2 was released earlier too.
