Forums - PC Discussion - Steam Holiday Sale has begun

So tempted to grab Sands of Time jsut for the sake of having it on my PC.

Do they ever remove games from the Steam online catalog?

i'm not sure, actually. I might remember wrong, but I think I've experienced games that were withdrawn from the EU region. But I haven't notice that in a very long time now.

funny how EA (except for Mirror's Edge, but that one was already cheap a few weeks ago) and Activision are the only big companies that aren't giving any discounts, but EA has been giving discounts at Direct2Drive's holiday sale.

last year I didn't buy a lot of games, but this year it will be impossible... even if I didn't really play RACE 07 and Rome: TW, the bigger ones I bought last year

ah, remember to look for the packs, there are a lot of games that are cheaper with packs. for example, the Prince of Persia pack is 22.50, and it includes the Sands trilogy + the "western" one.

second edit: actually, if you're interested in a pack, also look for the individual games. the Red Faction pack is currently more expensive than buying each of them separately (older RF's are $4.99, RF:G is $19.99, but the pack is $37.49)

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

I cannot resist cheap games, even if i don't have the time to play them.

Damn you steam. Now what I am supposed to drink at new years eve. :(

someone needs to put the Steam Holiday Sale in the front page of VGChartz

There's a few games I want, but I already have more than enough to play. Pass.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it   ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.

Excellent deals.

This is a huge mistake on their page: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/1203/

Individual price if you add up all the games is 26.96. If you buy in the package they are going to charge you 44.99$. It's suppose to be 13.93$
